Melon Local is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our growing in-house marketing team.

This role is primarily focused on creating engaging, high-quality visual content for both Melon Local and our clients

across a variety of digital marketing channels.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving creative problems, has a strong eye for branding,

typography and layout, and wants to contribute ideas—not just execute tasks. You'll work closely with the

Marketing Director, Senior Graphic Designer, Copywriter and Multimedia Content Specialist to develop

creative that is both visually compelling and strategically effective.

Graphic design is the primary focus of this position. Experience with video editing or motion graphics is a

plus, but not a requirement.

What You'll Do:

Graphic Design

Design a wide variety of marketing assets including:

Social media graphics

Google Ads

Display advertisements

Landing page graphics

Website graphics

Email marketing assets

Presentation materials

Sales collateral

Internal marketing materials

Adapt campaigns across multiple sizes, formats and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.

Create production-ready assets that align with marketing objectives and platform best practices.

Maintain organized project files and follow established asset management standards.

Creative Collaboration

Collaborate with the Marketing Director, Senior Graphic Designer, Copywriter and Multimedia

Content Specialist to develop creative concepts and campaigns.

Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews and campaign planning.

Bring fresh ideas while remaining open to feedback and creative direction.

Help evolve and maintain the visual identity of both Melon Local and our clients.

Ensure all creative work aligns with established brand standards while contributing thoughtful ideas

that help strengthen our creative direction.

Video Support (Nice to Have)

While not a primary responsibility, experience with video editing is a bonus.

Opportunities may include:

Editing short-form social media videos

Creating simple motion graphics

Adding captions and light animations

Assisting with multimedia projects during high-volume periods

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

2+ years of professional graphic design experience

Strong portfolio showcasing branding, marketing and digital design work

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Photoshop

Illustrator

InDesign

Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition and color theory

Experience designing for digital marketing and social media

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality

Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly

Bonus Qualifications

Experience editing short-form video content

Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve

Adobe After Effects or motion graphics

Photography or camera operation experience

Canva

Figma

Experience working in a marketing agency

Basic understanding of digital marketing strategy

The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 60,000 USD per year(Melon Local HQ)
