About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist Part Time AM/PM, you will be responsible for:
Providing respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases
Conducting respiratory assessments, therapy, and testing to diagnose and treat respiratory disorders
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Operating and maintaining respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen analyzers, and nebulizers
Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care
Responsibilities
Conduct respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and respiratory rehabilitation
Perform chest physiotherapy, including percussion, vibration, and postural drainage
Monitor and analyze patients' vital signs, including oxygen saturation, heart rate, and blood pressure
Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
