Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy

The Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy at Kinder's will play a pivotal role in our efforts to continue delivering at market-leading speed as we continue to grow. You will be responsible for supporting the development and continuous evolution of our corporate strategy, driving impact on the company's growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. This role requires a results-oriented leader with strong communication skills, project management discipline, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. In this role, you will report to the VP of Strategy and work closely with the CEO and broader leadership team to evaluate and execute a broad range of strategic projects and initiatives, including high-priority enterprise needs that span functions or require additional strategic capacity.
While the role spans several strategic disciplinesincluding corporate strategy, corporate development, business transformation, and enterprise strategic initiativesthe allocation of time across these areas will naturally evolve based on business priorities, market dynamics, and the company's stage of growth. Rather than owning a fixed set of responsibilities, this role is designed to provide flexible strategic capacity where it can create the greatest enterprise value.
Success in this role isn't measured by the number of presentations created or projects supportedit's measured by the quality of decisions enabled and the impact those decisions have on Kinder's long-term growth.
Within the first 1224 months, successful candidates will have:
- Helped shape and institutionalize Kinder's long-term strategic planning process.
- Led multiple high-impact enterprise initiatives from idea through execution.
- Improved the organization's ability to prioritize investments, allocate capital, and make strategic decisions.
- Become a trusted thought partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on the company's most important opportunities and challenges.
- Built tools, processes, and capabilities that continue creating value long after individual projects are complete.
The ideal candidate is energized by ambiguity, enjoys solving problems that don't yet have owners, and is equally comfortable building financial models, facilitating executive discussions, developing strategic recommendations, and rolling up their sleeves to help make those recommendations a reality. They combine structured thinking with pragmatism and are motivated by creating lasting enterprise value rather than simply completing projects. Additionally:
- 8+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or equivalent corporate strategic role
- CPG or food industry experience a plus (but not required)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Strong financial acumen and comfort reviewing and preparing financial information and presentations detailing financial metrics and analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex issues to a wide range of stakeholders and help drive change through building understanding
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience in project management tools a plus (we currently use Wrike).
- Bachelor's degree (MBA or other relevant advanced degree a plus).

The expected starting salary range for this role is $160,000-$180,000 per year. The salary range posted for this role reflects the good-faith base pay range Kinder's reasonably expects to offer at the time of posting and may vary based on the location of the role. Individual compensation within the posted range will be determined based on factors such as relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.
