  • Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license or documented proof of eligibility for California licensure.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience.
  • Clinical knowledge necessary to provide occupational therapy services to frail, elderly participants with complex healthcare needs.
  • Ability to implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
  • Professional experience working with geriatric patients.
  • Professional experience working with pediatric patients.
  • Experience providing functional rehabilitation and activities of daily living (ADL) training to patients with diverse needs.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a personable, adaptable, and compassionate COTA who enjoys helping individuals overcome functional challenges and achieve greater independence. Candidates with outpatient, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience are particularly well suited for this opportunity, with geriatric and pediatric experience also highly valued. The strongest candidate will be comfortable caring for frail older adults with complex needs while contributing positively to a holistic care team that values both its participants and providers.
