This unique opportunity is designed for individuals with a two-year technical degree who are ready to apply their knowledge of electrical systems, networking, and software in a hands-on environment. You'll complete a six-month training program in Franklin, Tennessee, before transitioning into an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role supporting customers across the United States. Candidates for this position must be open to moving within the US. Through real-world projects, technical development, and customer engagement, you'll help power the digital transformation of critical electrical infrastructure. Relocation assistance is provided for both the training program and final assignment location. What will you do? Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data centers and commercial/industrial customers. Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software used in electrical power distribution systems. Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues. Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution. Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities. Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects. Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance. Safety & Compliance - Follow established safety procedures and quality standards while working onsite and in customer environments. What qualifications will make you successful? Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Power Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred. Experience installing software or operating systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications across a network. Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel approximately 20-80%, depending on final assignment location. Ability and willingness to relocate within the United States following completion of the training program. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), or Systems Integration. Knowledge of electrical power distribution, power generation, and power quality concepts. Familiarity with SCADA communication protocols, networking architecture, and HMI configuration. Exposure to Schneider Electric software solutions and industry certifications is a plus.
