The Lab Manager will oversee a team of approximately 27 employees, including two direct reports: one supervisor and one client service analyst. This role involves bringing structure, accountability, and consistency back to the lab. The Lab Manager will assess current workflows to identify where standards have slipped and reset expectations across the department. The individual will align processes with established procedures and ensure policy compliance, helping to stabilize the lab after interim coverage.
The position is fully onsite, operating Monday through Friday with coverage generally needed until 5:00 PM. The lab operates across three shifts, with managers and supervisors primarily covering the day shift. The team is very communicative and works closely together, contributing to a collaborative work environment. The lab is connected to a larger system with 208 acute care sites.
This is a Permanent position based out of Cary, NC.
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
