Our client, an established retail real estate developer, is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant with hands-on experience in retail or commercial real estate accounting. This is not simply a transactional accounts payable position. The successful candidate needs to understand the accounting behind retail properties, particularly CAM (Common Area Maintenance), real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations. The role requires someone who can work through property-level expenses, research discrepancies, maintain accurate supporting documentation, and ensure reconciliations are completed correctly and on time. Experience with ARGUS is a strong plus.
