Job description
Receptionist (Full-Time, Weekend Coverage Required) Alhambra Post Acute Martinez, CA Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Must be available for weekend coverage We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our facility.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and is committed to excellent customer service for residents, families, and visitors. Position Summary As a Receptionist, you will oversee front desk operations, manage incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Weekend availability is required to maintain consistent coverage. Key Responsibilities * Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and vendors professionally * Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area * Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries * Provide administrative and clerical support to various departments * Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and follow facility protocols * Assist with scheduling and general office tasks * Communicate effectively with staff and leadership Qualifications Required * High school diploma or equivalent * Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.) * Reliable with weekend availability Preferred * Experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting * Familiarity with multi-line phone systems What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay ($18-$22 DOE) * Supportive, team-oriented environment * Opportunities for growth within the organization * Benefits package (customize if applicable) Why Alhambra Post Acute?
