Cloud Services – Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Specialist

Location: NYC, NY 10001
Duration: 12 Months

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 / Power Platform professional with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Pages, and custom application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, configuring, customizing, integrating, and deploying enterprise solutions within Dynamics 365 environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 entities, views, dashboards, workflows, and security settings.
  • Develop custom applications using Power Apps, including both canvas and model-driven applications.
  • Design, develop, customize, and integrate Power Pages and Portals solutions end-to-end.
  • Develop custom plugins using the Dynamics 365 SDK to implement complex business logic and automation.
  • Deploy customizations and solutions across Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with external systems and data sources using APIs, custom workflows, and other integration technologies.
  • Develop and maintain solutions based on business and technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and configuration issues.
  • Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, code quality, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in core Dynamics 365 concepts, functionality, configuration, and customization.
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Power Apps for developing canvas and model-driven applications.
  • Deep expertise in Power Pages and Portals, including:
    • End-to-end design
    • Development and customization
    • Configuration
    • Integration
  • Proven experience configuring Dynamics 365:
    • Entities
    • Views
    • Dashboards
    • Workflows
    • Security settings
  • Hands-on experience developing custom Dynamics 365 plugins using the SDK.
  • Experience deploying customizations and solutions across Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external applications and data sources through APIs and custom workflows.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, including:
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
    • jQuery
    • ASP.NET
  • Proficiency in C# programming.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with various database sources.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Knowledge of application performance optimization.
  • Experience with code quality and software development best practices.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and source-control practices.
  • Experience working within enterprise cloud application development environments.
