Systems Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Systems Engineer.

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116 (Onsite)
As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area. Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
• Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
• Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience
• Experience with system integration, verification & validation (V&V)
• Ability to perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and trade studies
• Experience in requirements allocation and interface definition
• Ability to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Knowledge of cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analysis
• Experience across the full product lifecycle (design, testing, installation, operation, maintenance)
• Understanding of technical, schedule, and cost constraints

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $50-$54 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
