Thermal Tech, Inc., an employee-owned company , is looking for a Central Engineer to join our Orlando team.
In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise, estimating, and project management to develop solutions for commercial and industrial boiler/HVAC projects.
You’ll work closely with customers, engineers, contractors, sales, and service teams to ensure projects are quoted accurately and executed successfully.
What You’ll Do Develop accurate and profitable quotes for new equipment and aftermarket projects.
Review project layouts and specifications to determine proper equipment selection.
Prepare detailed customer proposals, scopes of work, and submittal packages.
Manage multiple projects, schedules, and priorities from quote through installation.
Coordinate with customers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Troubleshoot technical and field issues as they arise.
Support our Service team with technical questions and solutions.
Visit jobsites as needed.
What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years of Boiler/HVAC, construction, estimating, or related experience.
Working knowledge of mechanical piping systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude, math, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
College degree or 10 years of experience in a similar position .
Project management experience is a plus.
