We're looking for a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for an immediate travel opening in Boston, MA.
The right Sterile Processing Technician must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for additional requirements.
As a SPT, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, assembly and sterilization of all instruments used in surgical services, and all required monitoring of equipment used in the processes.
As a SPT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
Sterile Processing Technicians should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. SPTs must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS and SPT (IAHCSMM-CRCST or CBSPD-CSPDT) certification. Requirements*: CBSPD, CRCST, BLS, 1 Year * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
