We are also home to an industry-leading training center on a mission to empower the engineer, and we are ISO 13485:2016 certified.About the RoleAs a Biomedical Equipment Technician II, you'll work independently with limited supervision to ensure clinical equipment operates safely, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You'll troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain a broad range of medical equipment, including moderate- to high-complexity diagnostic and therapeutic devices, while supporting hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout an assigned territory. You'll also serve as a technical resource and mentor to Biomedical Equipment Technician I team members.What You'll DoIndependently install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic, therapeutic, laboratory, and life-support medical equipmentDiagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and complete corrective actions to restore equipment to manufacturer specificationsPerform electrical safety inspections, functional testing, software updates, and equipment verificationRespond to customer service requests and communicate equipment status, repair progress, and recommended corrective actionsComplete accurate service reports, work orders, preventive maintenance records, calibration documentation, and equipment historiesTroubleshoot medical device networking, connectivity, and interface issues in collaboration with IT and clinical teamsSupport equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and decommissioningProvide technical guidance and mentorship to Biomedical Equipment Technician I team membersParticipate in an assigned on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as requiredWhat You'll BringRequired3–5 years of experience servicing biomedical equipment in a hospital, healthcare system, military, or field service environmentAdvanced knowledge of biomedical equipment, electronic theory, electrical safety, and diagnostic testingAbility to independently troubleshoot and repair moderate to complex biomedical equipmentWorking knowledge of medical device networking, operating systems, and basic cybersecurity principlesAbility to interpret service manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationStrong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skillsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to travel frequently within an assigned local and regional territoryNice to HaveAssociate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, Military Biomedical Equipment Training, or a related technical fieldCABT, CBET, A+, Network+, OEM, or equivalent technical certificationsExperience with CMMS software and medical device configuration or manufacturer diagnostic softwareWhy Join UsAt Tri Imaging Solutions, our mission is simple: keep life-saving imaging technology running at its best.
