Physician Assistant - Medical Oncology | Spokane, WA

  • Experience: Prior inpatient oncology experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (based on the job rate, to be discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide inpatient medical oncology care to hospitalized patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Assist with patient assessments, screenings, and follow-up care
  • Document clinical findings and interventions accurately
  • Support medical teams in managing acute and chronic oncology cases
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Contribute to ongoing patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
What You Need:
Required:
  • Valid active or IMLC licensed Nurse Practitioner credential
  • DEA certification
  • Experience in inpatient oncology care
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment and patient management

Preferred:
  • Previous hospital or inpatient oncology work experience
  • Able to quickly return paperwork and complete credentialing

This assignment involves providing urgent inpatient oncology coverage at a respected hospital in Spokane, Washington. The provider will be responsible for managing inpatient oncology patients, working closely with hospital staff to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a full-time schedule with guaranteed hours, ideal for clinicians seeking immediate placement and a supportive work environment.
