Transportation Driver
The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center, a proud provider of 5-Star quality care, is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transportation Driver to join our team in Independence, Missouri!
About the Role:
As a Transportation Driver at The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our residents to outside appointments and services. You will work under the direction of the Director of Environmental Services and be responsible for communicating and coordinating transportation with the Facility Services Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time position that requires a high degree of interpersonal relations skills, considerable initiative, and judgment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and transport residents to destination in a safe and timely manner
Coordinate with other staff to provide transportation for Activity Events to and from agreed destinations
Perform non-resident trips to the bank, post office, Church Headquarters, and other destinations as required
Coordinate the use of Rosewood Center vehicles
Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle checks on Rosewood Center vehicles
Greet people as they come into the office and direct them as appropriate
Maintain regular, reliable, and consistent attendance at the worksite as directed by supervisor
Adhere to the provisions of The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center's Ethical Standards, Guidelines/Compliance Plan, and exemplify high ethical standards in all activities and interactions
Qualifications:
Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal directions
Must have Class E driver's license
CNA license preferred
