Delivery Director - Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance NYC
The Delivery Director is accountable for end-to-end strategic technology and transformation delivery for P&C insurers. This senior, client-facing leader establishes delivery governance, cultivates executive client relationships, owns financial performance, and leads high-performing teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. The role ensures quality, risk management, security, privacy, audit, and regulatory alignment across complex transformation programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading multi-program delivery across policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, distribution, data, analytics, and customer experience (CX) capabilities.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to executive client stakeholders; shaping transformation strategy, target-state roadmaps, operating models, delivery governance, and adoption plans.
- Owning delivery commitments across scope, budget, milestones, dependencies, quality, risks, and outcomes; providing clear reporting and timely escalation management.
- Establishing and leading steering committees, program reviews, and governance forums with clients, partners, and internal leadership.
- Applying fit-for-purpose Agile, Scrum, SAFe, hybrid, and traditional delivery approaches across diverse programs and workstreams.
- Building, leading, mentoring, and retaining high-performing delivery teams; strengthening capability, succession, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Supporting account growth through relationship development, transformation opportunity identification, proposals, solutioning, estimates, staffing strategy, transition planning, contract execution, and statement-of-work (SOW) governance.
- Defining, monitoring, and improving delivery KPIs, including release predictability, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, operational performance, and business value realization.
- Ensuring delivery alignment with information security, data privacy, audit, market conduct, regulatory reporting, and applicable insurance compliance requirements.
The Delivery Director leads large, multi-workstream transformation and managed-services engagements across geographies and delivery locations. The position carries direct accountability for commercial health as well as delivery performance, ensuring that client outcomes and Fulcrum Digitals financial commitments remain aligned.
- Owning program financials, including revenue, margin, cost control, invoicing, forecasting, utilization, financial-risk mitigation, and corrective action planning.
- Leading multi-workstream, multi-vendor, multi-geography delivery across onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams; managing client, vendor, partner, and internal dependencies.
- Driving account mining, renewals, cross-selling, and identification of cloud, data, automation, AI, managed-services, and broader transformation opportunities.
- Supporting solutioning, estimates, staffing plans, transition approaches, contract execution, and SOW governance to create achievable commercial and delivery commitments.
- Driving continuous improvement in productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, release predictability, service stability, and operational efficiency.
- Overseeing implementation-to-run transitions, hypercare, managed services, SLAs, incident management, service continuity, and service-improvement plans.
The successful candidate brings deep working knowledge of the P&C insurance value chain and can credibly connect business operations, product strategy, regulatory obligations, and technology modernization decisions. Experience should span personal and commercial lines, including Auto, Homeowners, Property, Casualty, Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Specialty insurance.
- Policy and product lifecycle: product configuration, rating, quoting, underwriting, issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, servicing, and policy administration.
- Claims: first notice of loss (FNOL), adjudication, adjuster workflows, reserves, payments, recoveries, subrogation, litigation support, and customer communications.
- Billing and financial operations: billing, payments, collections, commissions, premium accounting, and reinsurance processes.
- Distribution and customer engagement: agent/broker channels, direct and digital channels, portals, CRM, sales enablement, and CX modernization.
- Data, reporting, and compliance: data platforms, analytics, regulatory reporting, audit, privacy, market conduct, and operational reporting.
- P&C performance measures: premiums, exposures, loss ratio, combined ratio, claim frequency, severity, and reserving.
- Modernization themes: legacy-platform replacement, cloud migration, API enablement, data transformation, digital channels, automation, core insurance platforms, and responsible AI adoption.
Required qualifications include:
- Overall delivery leadership - 14+ years of progressive technology delivery, program, or portfolio leadership experience.
- P&C program delivery - Significant experience delivering complex programs in the P&C insurance industry.
- Large-scale engagement leadership - Proven leadership across large, multi-team, multi-workstream, multi-vendor engagements.
- Commercial and financial ownership - Experience with program financials, P&L or margin ownership, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and resource utilization.
- Delivery methods - Working mastery of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
- Executive stakeholder management - Demonstrated ability to advise, influence, and govern with senior client executives and business leaders.
- Global delivery - Experience leading distributed onshore, offshore, and nearshore delivery teams.
- Insurance technology ecosystem - Exposure to policy, claims, billing, data, integration, and customer-experience platforms.
- Operational transition - Experience with implementation-to-run transition, hypercare, managed services, SLAs, incident management, and service improvement.

- Demonstrated success operating global delivery models spanning offshore and onshore teams.
- MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification preferred.
- Exposure to data privacy, responsible AI, AI governance, model risk management, and secure AI adoption in regulated environments.
