The Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and continuously improving site-specific quality control (QC) programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements, corporate standards, and applicable regulatory frameworks. This role oversees inspections, audits, documentation, corrective actions, and quality risk mitigation while collaborating closely with program leadership, supervisors, and external stakeholders to support operational excellence within healthcare and facilities management environments.

Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining quality control processes and procedures, conducting routine and special inspections, audits, and assessments, collaborating with program managers and supervisors, monitoring the quality of materials, workmanship, services, and processes, documenting and reporting quality findings, identifying potential quality risks, investigating root causes of quality issues, gathering and analyzing customer feedback, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating with Environmental Health and other supervisors, managing budgets and resources, communicating quality control status, risks, and outcomes, and providing training and guidance to quality control personnel.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience in a related quality control or facilities management field, one to two years of experience in quality control evaluation and reporting within facilities management operations, two years of experience working in comparably sized healthcare facilities, knowledge of government regulations, OSHA, NFPA, and The Joint Commission standards, strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, proficiency with computer systems and standard office software, ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision, and ability to communicate effectively in English in both written documentation and oral presentations.

Preferred qualifications include experience supporting diverse operations and project management programs, working knowledge of medical facility operations and healthcare environments, experience working in or supporting military medical facilities, familiarity with Defense Medical Logistics Support Standard (DMLSS) Facility Management Module or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and basic knowledge of office administration, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, maintenance, housekeeping, clinical engineering, and general operations.

Must be able to obtain base access.

Primarily operates within healthcare and facilities management environments. Regular interaction with operational teams, supervisors, and stakeholders. Requires prolonged periods of computer use, documentation review, and report preparation. May involve walking through facilities to conduct inspections and audits.

Some travel between project sites may be required.
