We have an outstanding Contract position for a Machine Operator to join a leading Company located in the Rancho Cucamonga, CA surrounding area. Pay Rate: $24hr 2nd shift, M-F, 2pm-10:30pm Job Responsibilities: Conducts pre-operations inspections to ensure the machine is ready to be operated in safe and efficient manner . Reads and executes daily production schedule as directed by supervisor. Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining. Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinery. Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut. Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required and reports problems to supervisor as necessary. Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications and stops production if any part is detected to be out of specification. Will confer with supervisor to resolve machining problems. Produces daily production reports, inspections and other reports as directed by supervisor. Must have an understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions. Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policies and safety procedures. Basic Hiring Criteria: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in operating what type of machines. Ability to set up and operates CNC machinery. Reporting to Machine Shope Department. This position requires access to technologies and hardware subject to US national security-based export control requirements.
