Job description
HVAC TECHNICIANAutomation Personnel Services is seeking several HVAC Technicians for an industrial paint specialist in Chattanooga, TN. This is a company specializing in all aspects of paint and janitorial manufacturing. This is an outstanding temporary-to-hire contractor position. Pay Rates:$25.00 per hour Schedule and HoursMonday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect HVAC/R systems, controls and components, computerized electrical circuits and systems, including Freon levels
  • Maintain air-conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigerated cooling, commercial mechanical and electrical systems
  • Conduct all monthly preventive maintenance throughout the facility
  • Change rooftop filters per facility schedules
  • Respond to service calls for repairs in a timely manner
  • Properly document all work conducted
  • Adhere to safety standards (OSHA) and environmental regulations (EPA)
HVAC Technician Qualifications and Requirements
  • EPA certification- licensed to work on industrial HVAC systems
  • Must have experience working with HVAC systems in an industrial plant to be considered for this position.
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of HVAC/R equipment and troubleshooting techniques, environmental regulations for refrigerants for City, State and EPA regulations.
  • Work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and lift heavy equipment. (In-office assessment will be conducted for 50lbs)
  • Drug screen and background check required
