C-17 Loadmaster Procedures Instructor
Incumbents Only Locations: Memphis AFB, Travis AFB, Eielson AFB, Hickam AFB, Jackson AFB, and March AFB
Provides C-17 Loadmaster procedures instruction in classroom, aircraft, and simulator environments.
Conducts Crew Resource Management (CRM) training.
Evaluates student performance and provides effective feedback, instruction, and remediation.
Identifies student learning difficulties and training objectives that have not been accomplished.
Conducts briefings and debriefings to develop and maintain student proficiency.
Maintains proficiency in the operation of C-17 aircrew training devices.
Maintains a high level of C-17 subject matter knowledge and instructional proficiency.
Provides input for courseware corrections, modifications, and updates.
Assists with the development and review of training curriculum and lesson materials as required.
Performs administrative duties associated with training, including record keeping and monitoring student progress.
Supports training program quality assurance, safety, and security requirements.
Provides recommendations for improving training policies, procedures, and instructional methods.
Assists with training projects and development activities as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Position requires a Technical College Degree or certificate in electronics, electrical technology, electromechanical systems, computer technology, aviation maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field.
4 years of related hands-on experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and related work experience totaling a minimum of 6 years.
