Logistics Forward Center Analyst I

We are seeking a Logistics Forward Center Analyst I for our client site at JBLM, WA. The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best-in-class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives.
  • Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
  • Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Possess secret security clearance prior to beginning support of this effort as required and maintain said clearance throughout duration of support of this effort.
  • Possess and maintains a valid state driver's license.
  • Possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions.
  • Be able to work in an environment that is fast paced while completing multiple tasks and meeting stringent timelines, including the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary, such as correspondence using the Army Writing System in accordance with AR 25-50.
  • Enter data into multiple databases or spreadsheets.
  • Ensure consistency and appropriate cross-referencing for both newly entered and previously entered data. Retrieve data and use data to respond to a variety of Customer and vendor inquiries.
  • Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures.
  • Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to supply transactions and patterns; assemble retrieved information into different formats to meet different requirements; for example, status reports, unmet Customer needs, and other similar areas.
  • Maintain files in accordance with applicable Army, Navy, and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
  • Proficiently use MS Office application software to maintain data and submit reports of varying types and formats via internal management control databases, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools in a variety of program application software.
  • Be willing to attend and satisfactorily complete, required training associated with job responsibilities.
  • Crosstrain with other contracted positions to fill in during absences (specific to exempt/salaried positions).
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • The complete day-to-day logistical management of numerous items of clothing and equipment, for issue specifically to Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel.
  • The SSAVIE internet web application is used for ordering equipment and managing as set visibility.
  • The management of Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) to assure the serviceability of ballistic plates (Generation II, Generation III, Generation IV, and MSAP).
  • SOEP RX support to units assigned.
  • The processing of Custom PCU for under or oversized operators.
