The Plant Manager oversees and leads the plant operations. This includes production, maintenance, sanitation, receiving, quality control, human resources, and shipping departments, ensuring adherence to established good manufacturing practices. They drive the production of high-quality products that meet or surpass customer and company standards in a safe environment, while maintaining costs, efficiencies, and volume targets at or above budgeted levels. Their specific duties include the following:
Minimum qualifications require a Bachelor's Degree in business management, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment. Requires two years of experience in the following: budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis; manufacturing and production processes, including equipment operation, maintenance, and optimization; strategic management including initiatives to optimize operations and enhance long term performance; conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; risk management including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with operations and implementing effective risk management strategies; implementing organizational development processes to foster continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
