A leading healthcare organization in the Houston area, is seeking a Sr. Epic Application Analyst to join their Information Systems team and help drive the technical success of their Epic environment. In this role, the successful candidate will bridge the gap between clinical operations and technology, translating user and department needs into effective Epic system solutions, supporting complex problem-solving efforts, and mentoring less experienced analysts along the way.

What You'll Do
- Translate user and department Epic system needs into practical technical solutions
- Lead project reviews and process walkthroughs that incorporate technical, clinical, and business perspectives to improve productivity and service levels
- Provide intermediate to advanced analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation support for Epic and related applications
- Serve as a technical resource and advocate for development and support standards across the organization
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours technical support
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects according to established timelines, keeping leadership informed of status and progress
- Contribute to training sessions and serve as a mentor/preceptor to less experienced staff
- Deliver excellent customer service to end users, patients, staff, and visitors
*Remote in Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Tennessee only.
Requirements
Education: Associate's degree preferred
Certifications: Epic certification required
- Epic ASAP certification strongly preferred
- Clindoc or Ambulatory certification will be considered as an alternative
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in an Epic application workspace
Experience working with an emergency department

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools, and methodologies
