We are looking for a driven Business Center Manager with commercial lending and credit experience within the small to mid-size Business Banking segment. This dynamic individual is expected to self-produce through Business Development efforts and manage a portfolio of clients, as well as provide top notch customer service to our clients and customers in Sacramento, CA. This role focuses on overseeing, leading, and directing a banking branch team with regards to sales, operations, and corporate/regulatory compliance to meet assigned lending, deposit, and fee income goals through lending, deposit and treasury management products, for businesses while also assisting with their personal and consumer banking needs.

Essential Functions:

• Oversees, leads, and directs a branch with regards to sales, operations, and corporate/regulatory compliance to meet assigned lending, deposit, and fee income goals.
• Responsible for staff management and development including performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations and disciplinary action.
• Provides suitable credit, deposit, or other banking services as well as counsel and advice to best meet clients' needs.
• Develops programs to maximize branch profitability, minimize risk, and improve customer service and product knowledge.
• Responsible for acquiring, expanding, and maintaining client relationships through both inside and outside business development activities.
• Analyzes risks and profitability of assigned client portfolio to ensure ongoing profitability and conformity with credit terms.
• Responsible for ensuring the successful processing, underwriting, and approving of loans within assigned limits.
• Negotiates loan terms and conditions in accordance with bank policy.
• Remains well versed in economic and financial concepts and developments relating to clients.
• Reviews branch reports for compliance and accuracy.
• Responsible for community development and relations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 3+ years of banking management or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
• Commercial lending experience with Investor Real Estate, Owner Occupied CRE, C&I, Lines of Credit, Equipment Loans, Letters of Credit, SBA etc.
• Business Development experience a must.
• Basic working knowledge of branch/banking management, operations, policies, procedures, banking products and lending concepts.
• Knowledge of business development and sales within the financial industry.
• Ability to make sound decisions, mitigate risk, build relationships and work with a variety of clients, employees and management.
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
• Good problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good customer relationship skills.
• Ability to manage staff.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000 $125,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location
