Job Title: Material Handler - Warehouse Associate (Cherry Picker)
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Shifts: Mon to Fri
- 1st shift 6am-FINISH $20.00hr
- 2nd shift 6pm-4am $21.00hr
Summary
As a Material Handler - Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a key role in maintaining inventory flow by pulling materials from bins, loading onto trucks, receiving shipments, and using inventory management systems. Job Purpose
- Maintain smooth movement and accurate records of stocked and delivered inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks, inspecting for quality standards.
- Stock, transfer, and place materials on shelves, bins, racks, or pipe bundles according to size, type, style, and length.
- Mark materials with correct identification.
- Transfer materials to and from modification shops.
- Assemble customer orders from stock, package orders in boxes/pallets per customer requirements.
- Pull orders for delivery and stock transfers, using forklift, overhead crane, and heavy equipment.
- Load materials onto trucks or transfer to packing area.
- Prepare shipment documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and customer safety policies.
- Adhere to safety policies, guidelines, and training requirements.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Report workplace hazards, injuries, or illnesses immediately.
- Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to learn federal, health, and safety regulations.
- Typing and basic computer skills.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) warehouse operations and business processes.
Additional Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license (DL).
- Must provide documentation verifying legal work status.
- Proficiency in English (read, speak, understand safety instructions and respond to inquiries).
- Ability to comply with company guidelines and expectations, including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest.
