Senior Software Developer / Infrastructure Engineer Location: Lewisville, TX

Salary: $90,000–$125,000+, depending on experience

Position Overview The Company is seeking an experienced
Senior Software Developer / Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Lewisville, Texas.
This is a hands-on, hybrid technology position that combines
software development, infrastructure, server administration, networking, security, application support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
The immediate technical priorities for this position will center around
servers, security, network support, troubleshooting, application support, and system maintenance. The role will also include software development and system enhancements, with opportunities to work on new functionality and modernize existing applications.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned technology professional with strong infrastructure experience who is also comfortable working with code. Just as importantly, this person must have excellent communication skills, be able to relate well to others, and enjoy working in a close-knit environment.

infrastructure, servers, security, networking, troubleshooting, application support, and maintenance, while also providing opportunities to contribute to
software development and future system enhancements.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site position in Lewisville, Texas. Key Responsibilities - Maintain, troubleshoot, and support servers, networks, applications, and related infrastructure.
- Provide hands-on technical support for Windows and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot system, network, application, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications and systems.
- Develop and implement future system enhancements and new functionality.
- Support internal and client-facing applications.
- Assist with server security, certificates, DNS, networking, and system maintenance.
- Work with databases, source code, APIs, and application integrations.
- Support applications running across Windows, Linux, PHP, JavaScript, Android, and related environments.
- Collaborate directly with company leadership and the existing technical/support team.
- Provide clear communication and technical guidance to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Help identify opportunities to improve system reliability, security, functionality, and performance.

Critical Requirements / Skills The following skills are considered critical to success in this position:
- JavaScript proficiency. There are also many opportunities to upgrade AJAX calls to use the more modern fetch construct.
- HTML/CSS/jQuery skills and understanding.
- PHP familiarity, including:
- SESSION variables
- COOKIES
- cURL to call remote APIs
- Android experience.
- Windows 2019 maintenance and operations.
- Windows App (RDP) for server support.
- GitHub for source code configuration control.
- MySQL expertise, including knowledge of Replication Setup/Implementation.
Important Skills The following skills are important to the position and will be used in supporting PMI's existing technology environment:
- Winsock knowledge and the ability to support applications utilizing it from JavaScript, Android, and PHP running on a Linux system with Ubuntu.
- Android programming skills in order to support the company's in-house client that is pushed to PAX Terminals (PMI Pay).
- WampServer familiarity, as PMI currently has multiple servers running this technology.
- DNS operation and setup.
- FileZilla operation and FileZilla Server setup.
Nice to Have Skills Experience with any of the following would-be a plus:
- Experience with third-party web report writers/tools. PMI is currently using ActiveReports and KoolReport (legacy).
- Windows Scheduler

- Microsoft batch file skills
- Server certificates, including CA configuration and CSR creation/usage
- Twilio for SMS
- SendGrid for email
- Visual Studio Code IDE
- Experience and knowledge of OpenSSL and cryptography
- reCAPTCHA Version 2 familiarity
- MSSQL familiarity, particularly with Alliance and legacy VT Wizard
- Any previous experience with payment systems or payment processing technology
