NATRACOM Training Management System Coordinator
Duties
You will be responsible for the coordination of program tasks directly related to the NATRACOM (Naval Air Training Command) Training Management System (TMS). You will review, evaluate, and recommend improved training methods that support functional use of the Training Management System (TMS). You will assist in the development of TMS technical documentation, reports, and presentations. You will provide technical and administrative direction of an aligned, engaged and high-performing team. You will develop and execute a mission-aligned vision for the organization. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both technical and administrative matters. You will perform root cause analysis on the functional use of the Training Management System (TMS).
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative direction by coordinating aviation training and utilizing management systems to recommend improvements to training methods in support of the commands mission. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR An LL.M., if related to the position being filled; OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
