Project Manager

Parsons is actively seeking experienced and driven Project Managers to join our PG&E Infrastructure division, supporting one of California's most recognized and essential utility clients. This is a standout opportunity for a proven leader who is energized by delivering innovative, practical solutions on complex infrastructure programs that continue to grow in importance and demand across the region. In these roles, you will lead project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and overall commercial performance, playing a critical part in the successful delivery of high-visibility work tied to long-term infrastructure investment.

These opportunities will be supporting PG&E Northern California (Chico, Sacramento, Rockland, Folsom, Auburn), providing the chance to work alongside a hallmark client on impactful, high-visibility programs. Candidates are required to be located within 60 miles of these locations any business travel expenses incurred will be reimbursed, including mileage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and forecasting to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead scope development and scope management activities in alignment with project objectives.
• Track and follow up on project-related instructions, commitments, and action items to ensure accountability and progress.
• Support client objectives by developing a strong understanding of contract terms, program requirements, and corporate policies.
• Oversee the development and implementation of key project documents, including:
• Project Execution Plan
• Health and Safety Plan
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan
• Other required project documentation
• Ensure compliance with program and project milestones.
• Prepare and distribute concise project summaries for team alignment and reference.
• Direct and manage all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects.
• Participate in field activities as needed, including job walks and safety hazard analyses.
• Coordinate with profit center and department managers to define qualifications and staffing requirements for key project roles.
• Partner with office facilities staff to address project space and operational needs.
• Work closely with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Identify potential cost overruns, schedule delays, or scope changes and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to management on progress, milestones, risks, and issues that may impact cost or schedule.
• May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and attend public meetings in support of client initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical or business field.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering management experience, preferably on large-scale programs.
• Demonstrated success managing complex infrastructure projects through all phases of delivery.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, and collaborative team environment.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
