Manufacturing EHS Programs Advisor
Location: Aurora, Illinois (On-site)
Company: Pretium Packaging
Grow boldly with Pretium and help shape a safer, smarter manufacturing environment.
A day in your role
It’s 7:00 a.m. in Aurora. You step onto the plant floor, greet operators in both English and Spanish, and start a quick walk-through of the injection–blow molding lines. You spot a housekeeping hazard and coach the team, then head to maintenance to review a Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure on a robotics cell. By mid-morning, you’re auditing compressed air systems and documenting findings for leadership with practical fixes attached.
After lunch, you lead a safety training—covering PPE, hazard communication, machine guarding, ergonomics, and emergency response—tailored for a diverse team. An incident alert comes in: a near miss at material handling. You investigate, identify root cause, and drive corrective actions. Before you wrap up, you verify hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage, update environmental logs for emissions and stormwater, and finalize plans for an evacuation drill. Another day building a proactive safety culture is complete.
