End User Computing Lead

Under direction, this is a Lead classification. The class is primarily supervisory in nature managing the City's EUC endpoints (over 10k City-owned and managed EUC devices; e.g., PCs, laptops, and tablets) to maintain operations, and performs related duties as required.
Essential duties include:
- Leading the configuration, deployment, on-going maintenance, and overall management of all City-owned EUC devices and associated supporting management tools and services for those stated devices.
- Overseeing the design, architecture, and management of the end-user computing platform.
- Developing and maintaining technology standards based on industry best practices, managing a technology roadmap, and proposing and developing new solutions based on business strategy.
- Working with the broader IT and business organization to deliver solutions.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in end-user computing technology, managing governance and compliance to the standards, and driving focus on delivering excellent customer experience.
- Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
- Completing performance appraisals for subordinate staff, administering disciplinary functions, and approving staff time off requests.
- Planning, organizing, and controlling resources, procedures, and protocols to bring about beneficial changes and/or added value to the City's end-user computer functionality.
- Defining the scope of division development projects, advising on scope changes and quality assurance aspects of the project.
- Providing technical and analytical guidance to the team.

Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Flexible)

Qualifications:
Eight (8) years of technical administration or cloud solutions, OR graduation from an accredited college with an associate degree in computer or information science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, database administration, or a directly related field, PLUS six (6) years of technical administration or cloud solutions, OR graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer or information science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, database administration, or a directly related field, PLUS four (4) years of technical administration or cloud solutions, OR graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in computer or information science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, database administration, or a directly related field, PLUS three (3) years of technical administration or cloud solutions.
