Virginia Beach, VA Hybrid
Valkyrie is seeking a dedicated Configuration Management Specialist that focuses on Hardware Configuration and Data Management to provide support for Naval Combat Systems onboard large deck amphibious ships and aircraft carriers.
This role is in:
Must have a Bachelor's in related field and at least 5 years of experience with SSDS, Navy, and/or shipboard systems or HS Diploma or equivalent with at least + 9 years related experience with SSDS, Navy, and/or shipboard systems.
Must have proven experience in configuration and data management.
Must have the ability to coordinate with multi-site teams and manage complex documentation processes.
Have experience utilizing Windchill to support IWS electronic Product Lifecycle Management tasking, preferred.
Experience using Navy Data Environment (NDE) ILS Modules, preferred.
Experience with supporting NSWCDD DNA, preferred.
Must have an Active Secret Security clearance and base access requirements.
Less than 10%:
Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift.
Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
