Electric Peak Constructors is looking for a Director of Preconstruction to lead a team of Preconstruction Project Managers across the full project lifecycles.
The Director collaborates closely with the business development and construction teams to secure new work and deliver high-quality designs aligned with customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities Direct and manage Preconstruction Managers through project feasibility, engineering, pricing, and construction handoff for solar PV and BESS infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with business development and sales teams to influence pursuit strategy, ensuring alignment between project delivery capabilities and client requirements.
Oversee risk management for project development, including pricing, schedule, scope definition, contractual risk, and third-party engineer/consultant contracting and management.
Partner with the Construction team to ensure seamless project handoffs and drive continuous improvement in business processes, team performance, and financial outcomes.
Lead procurement planning and oversight, including supplier qualification, strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, equipment procurement, subcontractor engagement, and supply chain risk management to support project cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
