JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) with ED experience
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS required (ATLS may be initial only for EM boarded)
• Experience: Residency trained in EM or FM; ABFM physicians must have 2+ years ED experience at facilities with annual volume 10,000+

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency care at multiple CHRISTUS Good Shepherd locations as assigned.
• Work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with potential 12-hour shifts.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Adhere to credentialing and onboarding requirements including Epic training and infection control.
• Maintain board certification and required life support certifications (ACLS, ATLS).
