Grubbs Family of Dealerships Wichita Falls is seeking a General Maintenance person. The person will maintain a fully functioning and clean facility by ensuring the grounds, buildings, and equipment are kept in a safe condition by following an established maintenance program. He or she is responsible for all maintenance procedures and coordinates repairs with preferred vendors. He or she will perform a variety of skilled duties in building trades, such as minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, light electrical work, boiler, and HVAC repair. Additionally, building and facility remodeling/repair may be needed periodically.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (with further technical coursework preferred) and experience in residential and/or commercial property maintenance that includes general maintenance, construction/remodeling, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. He or she must be a team player who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, must be physically able to perform the duties of the job (move heavy equipment/machinery, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.), must have strong communication and customer service skills, and must be willing to work a flexible schedule and be on call, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
