Adelphi is seeking a psychiatrist to provide hybrid psychiatric services at an outpatient facility in Oroville/Chico Area, California. The psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychiatric care for adult patients in a collaborative outpatient setting. Job Quick Facts: • BD-852-03 • Profession: Physician • Speciality: Psychiatrist • Location: Oroville/Chico Area, CA • Facility Type: Behavioral Health Clinic • Service Setting: Outpatient • Job Type: Contract • Coverage Type: Tele-psychiatry with one week for on site visits every month/quarter • Shift Schedule: 36 hours/week (Ideally 8-hour days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch) • Call Schedule: No on call • Patient visits: 60 minutes, Follow-up visits: 30 minutes, Maximum of 14 follow-ups/day if schedule is full, No-show rate: Approximately 25% • Documentation/Admin Time: 1 hour per day included in schedule • Start Date: April 1 (Long-term assignment) Requirements: • Active CA license • BC/BE • DEA License • Valid US driver’s license upon date of application. Must obtain California driver’s license following hire date per California DMV regulations Responsibilities: • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans. • Provide ongoing medication management and psychotherapy as needed. • Perform crisis intervention, including prescribing and administering emergency medications. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services including NPs, counselors, therapists, and case managers. • Evaluate patients for voluntary/involuntary commitment and complete required documentation. • Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. • Support continuity of care for patients engaged in day treatment and substance use programs. • Any other duties as assigned.
