Compensation And Benefits Manager

Lead the design, administration, and ongoing evolution of the company's compensation programs. Conduct market analyses and benchmarking to ensure compensation remains competitive and aligned with our talent strategy. Develop and maintain salary structures, job levels, pay ranges, and compensation guidelines. Partner with HR and business leaders on compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employee changes. Lead or support annual compensation planning, including merit increases and incentive programs. Analyze compensation data to identify trends, internal equity considerations, and opportunities for improvement. Provide thoughtful guidance to leaders on compensation practices and help translate complex compensation concepts into clear recommendations. Monitor evolving pay transparency and compensation-related requirements and help ensure company practices remain compliant.

Manage the administration and ongoing evaluation of employee benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, leave, and other offerings. Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment activities, partnering closely with brokers, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Evaluate plan utilization, costs, market competitiveness, and employee needs to recommend benefit enhancements and cost-effective solutions. Manage vendor relationships and hold partners accountable for service, accuracy, and results. Oversee benefits communications and help employees understand and appreciate the value of their total rewards package. Ensure benefits programs are administered accurately, consistently, and in accordance with applicable regulations. Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, reporting, and the overall employee benefits experience.

Develop meaningful compensation and benefits reporting, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making. Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of compensation and benefit costs. Maintain strong controls and data integrity across compensation and benefits processes. Stay current on market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging total rewards practices. Serve as a subject-matter expert and trusted resource for employees and leaders. Balance business needs, employee experience, competitiveness, compliance, and cost when developing recommendations.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 10+ years of progressive compensation, benefits, or total rewards experience, including experience managing complex programs. Strong knowledge of compensation benchmarking, salary structures, job evaluation, and market pricing. Hands-on experience administering and evaluating employee benefit programs. Experience working with benefits brokers, carriers, compensation survey providers, and other external partners. Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights and practical recommendations. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with HRIS, benefits, and compensation systems. Working knowledge of applicable compensation and benefits regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to employees and leaders. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A collaborative, service-oriented approach combined with the confidence to provide expert recommendations and challenge assumptions when appropriate. Required: CCP, CEBS, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or other relevant professional certification.

You'll be successful in this role when our compensation and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, financially responsible, well understood, and exceptionally well administered. You'll give leaders better information for making people decisions, create an easier experience for employees, and continuously look for ways to make our total rewards programs stronger.
