Job description
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience as an Oracle Database Administrator within mission-critical enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database 19c and managing complex multitenant architectures including pluggable database (PDB) refreshes.
- Experience in advanced database performance tuning, bottleneck analysis, and SQL optimization techniques.
- Experience with Oracle RMAN for designing and executing comprehensive backup and recovery operations.
- Experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience with Linux shell scripting to automate database provisioning and routine maintenance tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating on-call incident response and shift handovers.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer enterprise Oracle 19c databases utilizing multitenant architecture and pluggable database (PDB) refreshes.
- Execute deep-dive performance troubleshooting and optimization strategies to mitigate system bottlenecks.
- Monitor and resolve incidents related to critical batch processing cycles and scheduled after-hours jobs.
- Manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure and ASM components to ensure continuous database availability and performance.
- Orchestrate Backup and Recovery workflows using RMAN to maintain rigorous data integrity standards.
- Provision new database environments and automate administrative requests using specialized shell scripts.
- Deliver technical support during late-shift windows and participate in high-priority on-call rotations.
