Job descriptionJob Description The Delivery Tech loads trucks and delivers products across the state. This position ensures products are delivered to the Dispensaries with outstanding service in a positive and friendly environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Provides prompt, secure, and professional delivery services. * Checks and ensures orders are fulfilled and accurately packed for shipment. * Maintains and safely operates delivery vehicles. * Uploads documentation of delivery, maintenance, and compliance forms via paper copy or into proper electronic databases. * Exhibits polite, professional driving etiquette. * Follows specific routes and adheres to industry compliant turn-by-turn trip plans. * Performs basic vehicle maintenance checks. (Fluids, tires, damage, engine, and body components). * Maintains a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect. * Follows procedures as outlined in onboarding and training. * Adapts to frequent/last minute adjustments to daily schedule. * Drives if needed 8+ hours and covers 500+ miles per day in all weather and road conditions. * Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications * Must be able to obtain a state marijuana badge and pass a background check * Valid Driver's License with excellent, clean, driving record, CDL experience preferred * Familiarity with computer and mobile routing software and mapping programs to navigate and complete deliveries * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations * Ability to work independently and have excellent attendance * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to stay focused * Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a "can do" attitude * Available to work weekends and holidays as needed * Reliable transportation * Ability to work overtime hours and on-call shifts Education and Experience Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1+ years commercial driving experience Physical Requirements * Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds. * Sitting 8+ hours each shift, bending, squatting, climbing in and out of vehicle * The ability to respond quickly to sounds * The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces * The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations * The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day * The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions * The ability to work in low light situations * Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity * Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals At Good Day Farm, we are committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive environment for all.
