As a concession worker you will assist in the management of the concession operations including sales, inventory, and cleaning. This is a seasonal position and hours of work will vary. Evening and weekend hours are to be expected.
The job duties and/or essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Age 16 or older; ability to work with numbers; previous experience in concession operations or customer service desired.
Knowledge and ability to express directions, demonstrate skills, and communicate with patrons and co-workers. The ability to perform the following work tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
Work Environment/Physical Job Requirements: Employee is required to frequently to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands and fingers dexterously, reach with hands and arms; intermittently sits, stoops, kneels and/or crouches. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Seasonal / Variable hour positions are not eligible for a benefit package. However, the City of South St. Paul does provide Earned Sick & Safe Time (ESST) leave in accordance with Minnesota's ESST law.
