This role will be responsible for driving large scale, data intensive projects while ensuring data quality, compliance, stewardship, and governance standards are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will partner with technical and business leaders to deliver strategic initiatives, establish governance frameworks, and ensure that data remains a trusted and valuable organizational asset. This individual will serve as a key connector between project execution, enterprise oversight, and data driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end delivery of enterprise projects with significant data driven components

• Implement and mature data governance frameworks focused on data quality, metadata management, stewardship, and compliance

• Partner with data engineering, architecture, analytics, and business teams to establish and maintain enterprise data standards

• Track project performance through KPI dashboards, governance metrics, and executive reporting

• Facilitate steering committees, governance councils, and stakeholder decision making sessions

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to data dependencies, ownership, quality, lineage, and integrations

• Ensure project deliverables comply with governance controls including security, privacy, and change management requirements

• Promote adoption of data focused delivery best practices across project teams and business stakeholders

Key Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of project management experience delivering enterprise scale technology and business initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred

• PMP certification or comparable Project Management qualification required or strongly preferred

• Strong background in data governance, data quality management, metadata management, or related data disciplines

• Experience delivering projects involving data platforms, master data management, analytics, cloud technologies, or enterprise integrations

• Working knowledge of data architecture concepts including data lineage, data cataloging, sourcing, and system integrations

• Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms

• Experience developing dashboards and reporting using tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• Strong understanding of PMO governance practices including stage gates, risk management, issue tracking, and compliance reviews

• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align cross functional teams around common objectives

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences

• Strong leadership, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities

Why This Opportunity Matters

• Play a pivotal role in connecting enterprise project delivery with effective data governance

• Influence strategic decisions by improving the quality, consistency, and reliability of business data

• Work closely with executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders across the organization

• Drive initiatives that create measurable business value and long term operational improvements

• Help build a culture where data drives informed decision making across the enterprise
