Healthcare analytics experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive clinical utilization and outcomes analyses to support clinicians, leadership, internal stakeholders, and external customers.

  • Analyze clinical practice patterns, utilization trends, outcomes, variations, and outlier metrics to identify meaningful trends and opportunities.

  • Evaluate clinician practice patterns and performance metrics to identify alignment with or deviation from established clinical models.

  • Acquire, extract, manipulate, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.

  • Use SQL, Excel, MicroStrategy, and other analytical tools to retrieve and analyze clinical, utilization, employer, and operational data.

  • Generate standard and recurring reports, including daily, monthly, and quarterly utilization and outcomes reporting.

  • Develop customized reports and analyses to support employer reporting, presentations, client meetings, and business initiatives.

  • Interpret analytical results and translate complex findings into clear written narratives, visualizations, and actionable recommendations.

  • Identify trends, patterns, outliers, and opportunities within clinical and utilization data.

  • Develop and execute low- to medium-complexity reporting and analytics projects with appropriate management guidance.

  • Partner with internal departments to determine reporting requirements and develop customized analytical solutions.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance testing for new reports, dashboards, data solutions, and system enhancements.

  • Support testing and validation of data within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and related outcomes reporting systems.

  • Validate report accuracy, data integrity, calculations, and business logic before reports and dashboards are released.

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical workflows, documentation, and overall team efficiency.

  • Create and maintain reporting processes, procedures, and supporting documentation.

  • Provide guidance or training to team members and stakeholders on reporting processes and procedures as appropriate.

  • Manage assigned analytical projects, priorities, and deadlines while escalating risks or issues when necessary.

  • Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive clinical, employee, customer, HIPAA, and Protected Health Information (PHI).

  • Support special analytical projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from an accredited college or university; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.

  • Minimum of 4 years of analytical and technical application experience.

  • Proven experience using SQL to query, manipulate, clean, and analyze large datasets.

  • Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, data validation, and interpretation of complex datasets.

  • Experience developing recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to break down complex business or analytical problems, identify stakeholder requirements, and develop data-driven solutions.

  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, outliers, and relationships within large datasets.

  • Experience translating analytical findings into clear written explanations, presentations, reports, and data visualizations.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience managing analytical projects and balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate technical and analytical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on data accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Ability to adapt as business priorities, reporting requirements, and deadlines change.

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days onsite per week in Addison, TX, including increased onsite presence during the initial 90-day training period.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous healthcare analytics, clinical analytics, healthcare reporting, or healthcare data analysis experience.

  • Experience analyzing clinical outcomes, utilization, provider performance, or practice-pattern data.

  • Experience within workers' compensation, occupational health, healthcare services, or a related environment.

  • Experience with MicroStrategy or similar business intelligence and reporting platforms.
