Job description

Position Summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to help design, build, and deploy a sophisticated agent based AI platform. This role will be responsible for creating intelligent AI agents that collaborate across the software development lifecycle, automating key activities including code generation, testing, code reviews, workflow management, and development orchestration.

This individual will play a critical role in building a multi agent ecosystem that drives automation and operational efficiency throughout engineering processes. The ideal candidate combines strong Python development expertise with hands on cloud experience and a passion for building innovative AI powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI powered agents and supporting applications

• Build and orchestrate multi agent workflows that automate software development lifecycle activities

• Develop intelligent agents responsible for code generation, testing, code reviews, validation, and workflow execution

• Create agent to agent communication and handoff processes that ensure seamless lifecycle management

• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to gather requirements and implement automation solutions

• Integrate AI capabilities into existing development tools, platforms, and workflows

• Optimize agent performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency

• Document technical designs, architectures, implementation processes, and best practices

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related field

• Strong proficiency in Python development and application design

• Experience building AI applications, intelligent automation solutions, or agent based systems

• Hands on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and engineering processes

• Experience designing, testing, and deploying production ready software applications

• Knowledge of generative AI technologies, large language models, and AI orchestration platforms preferred

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, pull request workflows, and software quality assurance processes preferred

• Excellent analytical problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a cross functional team environment
