Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with automotive manufacturing experience and hands-on IATF 16949 experience to join a growing precision manufacturing organization.

Job Duties:

• Support and improve the QMS in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to resolve quality issues.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Support APQP and PPAP activities for new products and engineering changes.
• Utilize quality core tools including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.
• Investigate customer complaints and internal nonconformances.
• Support internal, customer, and supplier audits.
• Analyze quality data to reduce scrap, improve process capability, and prevent recurring issues.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Quality Engineering or Quality Systems experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on IATF 16949 experience – required.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and automotive quality core tools.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Experience with metal forming, springs, wire products, stamping, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
