- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Medical and Research Technology, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a closely related field (where degree would qualify individual to sit for certification as Medical Technologist).
Work Experience:
- Work requires 3 or more years of clinical laboratory experience where at least 2 of those years have been in specialty or related laboratory field, 5 years' experience preferred.
- Individual should demonstrate experience and aptitude for juggling multiple priorities, problem resolution, and coordination/communication with laboratory staff.
Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:
- Certification in Medical Technology, MT (ASCP), or a nationally recognized professional organization accepted by JH Pathology (example: AMT, ISCLT, NRM, SBB, etc.).
- *Cytogenetics positions only: Certification by the National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory personnel as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Cytogenetics or other certifying agency is required.

Salary Range: Minimum 39.56/hour - Maximum 65.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
