Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Parts Staff / Warehouse Driver to support warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving, parts distribution, and local delivery operations in Tulsa.

This position combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with customer service and local driving. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using computer systems, and able to accurately receive, track, pull, and deliver parts while providing professional service to customers and internal teams.




Required Experience & Skills

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
• Previous warehouse, inventory, parts, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to accurately maintain inventory and transaction records
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and demeanor




Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload, and stock incoming merchandise and materials
• Verify incoming parts and products for accuracy and condition
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments and customer deliveries
• Pull, stage, and distribute parts and materials for customers and service technicians
• Organize and maintain parts and inventory storage areas
• Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries
• Safely operate company delivery vehicles for local deliveries
• Maintain company vehicles in clean and professional condition
• Accurately record inventory movements and transactions using company software
• Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels
• Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and through email
• Support service and sales teams with parts sourcing and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all company safety policies and properly use required safety equipment
• Perform additional warehouse, parts, and delivery duties as assigned




Customer Service Responsibilities

• Assist customers with parts and order-related questions
• Provide professional service at the parts counter and during deliveries
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
• Communicate order or inventory concerns clearly and professionally
• Coordinate with service and sales personnel to ensure customers receive the correct parts
• Maintain a helpful and professional attitude during all customer interactions




Preferred Qualifications

• Previous automotive, truck, equipment, or industrial parts experience
• Warehouse or distribution experience
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Inventory control or parts-counter experience
• Local delivery driving experience
• Forklift operating experience
• Experience using inventory or warehouse management software
• Strong Microsoft Office and data-entry skills




Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading
• Ability to safely handle parts and warehouse materials
• Ability to safely enter and exit company delivery vehicles throughout the day
• Comfortable performing a combination of warehouse, computer, customer service, and driving responsibilities
• Ability to safely operate a forklift when trained and certified




Work Environment

• Combination of warehouse, parts counter, office, and local delivery responsibilities
• Regular interaction with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and warehouse staff
• Frequent use of inventory software, Microsoft Office, and warehouse equipment
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong organization and attention to inventory accuracy
• Monday–Friday schedule with hours generally from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, although hours may vary by location
