About the Role We are seeking a
detail-oriented Correspondence Processor / Document Control Assistant to support the accurate processing, organization, scanning, and electronic management of legal and business documents.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with electronic or physical documents.
Key Responsibilities Accurately process electronic documents using proprietary software systems.
Name, organize, store, and retrieve electronic files while maintaining accuracy.
Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming physical mail for scanning.
Distribute non-scanned mail to the appropriate employees or departments.
Archive and purge documents according to established procedures.
Audit CDs and ensure required documents or images are uploaded electronically.
Follow up on pending password access when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive documents.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Associate degree and approximately
3 years of experience processing electronic documents preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience in
document processing, data entry, records management, mailroom operations, or administrative support is highly desirable.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office, Windows Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
