GIS Specialist

Job Description:

• Maintain and update GIS fiber network data using ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, incorporating field audits, as-builts, and construction drawings
• Digitize and edit vector data according to project-specific standards
• Create basic network maps and reports for planning, permitting, and engineering phases
• Transform and tailor geospatial data from public sources and across formats
• Apply geoprocessing tools and perform QC/QA checks for data integrity and topological correctness
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and GIS teams to meet deadlines and maintain JSI standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of GIS experience
• Certificate or degree in GIS, engineering, or a related field
• Proficient computer skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail
