Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Activity Assistant to join our dedicated team at Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Akron, OH. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, providing engaging activities and programs that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Activity Assistant Responsibilities
Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
Assist with planning and coordinating special events, outings, and parties
Encourage resident participation in activities and foster social connections among residents
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance
Collaborate with the activities department to identify and address the unique needs of each resident
Assist with daily operations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents
Activity Assistant Requirements
Prior experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
