The Facilities Security Coordinator, assigned to a specific client, will oversee the coordination and management of the security department's daily operations.
The Coordinator ensures compliance with security agreements, evaluates site risks, and maintains effective communication with management and external agencies.
This role involves guiding the security team, administering training and scheduling, and providing timely incident and investigation reports to enhance overall security services. Responsibilities * Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. * Serve as the primary point of contact for the Facility Security Manager. * Coordinate responses to requests from individual facilities for security and investigation services. * Assist in coordinating and/or performing investigations as required. * Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security department at the client site. * Research and provide recommendations on the implementation of best practices and other key initiatives. * Evaluate risk and ensure adequate coverage for client sites, including compliance with procedures and the client’s security program, and provide recommendations to the Facility Security Manager. * Review and audit weekly billing of baseline and service request hours and take corrective actions. * Assist the Facility Security Manager in the approval of overtime scheduling to control security costs and overtime. * Oversee the scheduling of security personnel for all facility special events, ensuring service requests and training requirements are met. * Inspect each security post regularly, check for post housekeeping, Post Procedure Manual, and necessary emergency call listings. * Ensure inspection of all fire and emergency equipment if applicable, and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs. * Provide guidance and direction to all supervisors and Facility Security Agents, especially in emergency response situations. * Promote a proactive attitude in meeting the security and safety needs of the client. * Ensure proactive and appropriate communication with management regarding the status of emergency situations. * Monitor daily the content and quality of reports prepared by security personnel and provide guidance as necessary. * Evaluate site information, occurrences, and incidents, and communicate information to Pinkerton management and appropriate client site personnel. * Develop, maintain, and coordinate effective communication with outside emergency agencies. * All other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferred, with law enforcement, military, and/or security experience. * Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. * Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision. * Client orientated and results driven. * Problem resolution skills. * Attentive to details and accuracy. * Effective written and ver bal communication skills. * Serve as an effective team member. * Effective follow -up skills. * Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
