Responsibilities

TikTok Shop Supply Chain & Logistics team is seeking experienced talents. The team is dedicated to innovating and streamlining TikTok Shop's transportation network and this pivotal role is at the forefront of shaping scalable and efficient transportation strategies. Benchmarked against FBA fulfillment speed standards, this role is responsible for speed standard setting, wave synchronization design, real-time monitoring & alerting, and exception root cause closure across FBT's 3 handover nodes (First-mile Pickup ? Sorting Center ? Middle Mile ? Last Mile). The core mission is to build a deterministic fulfillment speed barrier for FBT, ensuring every wave of shipments is handed over within the correct time window, minimizing in-transit backlog and delivery delays.

• Speed Standard & Wave Synchronization Design
• Establish SOPs and delivery standards (appearance, labeling, quantity, palletization, etc.) for the 3 handover nodes: Pickup?SC, SC?Middle Mile, SC?Last Mile;
• Design wave synchronization rules and cut-off times for pickup/sorting/dispatch waves, set lane-specific SLA targets (air/ocean/ground);
• Manage SC inbound appointment processes, optimize receiving queues and unloading windows to improve appointment accuracy.
• Monitoring System & Metrics Dashboard
• Build KPI dashboards covering the 3 handover nodes (OT rate, sorting accuracy, damage rate, quantity discrepancy rate, tracking gap rate, etc.);
• Drive system integration with carriers to enable real-time visibility of scan events, define key event codes and in-time data sync standard;
• Establish tiered alerting mechanisms (Yellow/Orange/Red), produce periodic speed analysis reports to identify high-incidence delay nodes and lanes.
• Exception Response & Closed-loop Improvement
• Develop tiered exception handling SOPs and rapid response mechanisms (quantity mismatch, label damage, appointment failure, tracking gap, warehouse congestion/rejection, etc.);
• Conduct root cause analysis using PDCA, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram and other tools, distinguish between planning flaws, execution deviations, or system issues, and formulate corrective actions;
• Perform regular on-site quality audits at SC, establish defect injection accountability, drive each node operator to take ownership of handover quality, and close the improvement loop.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related fields preferred;
• 5+ years in e-commerce logistics/supply chain operations or quality management, with at least 2 years in warehouse-transportation handover or line-haul management;
• End-to-end process design and SOP development capability, familiar with wave management and inbound appointment logic;
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and dashboard building; SQL or Python skills preferred; Proficient in PDCA, Six Sigma, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram and other quality analysis methodologies;
• Excellent cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills; ability to make quick decisions and drive closure under unexpected exceptions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FBA Placement & Speed or Amazon SC/ICQA roles preferred;
• Experience in 0-to-1 build of TMS, WMS or order tracking systems preferred;
• Experience in carrier management and performance evaluation system setup preferred;
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or PMP certification preferred.

Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $109440 - $187920 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
